Date night

I am counting the minutes to my weekend at this point. This has been a week of very little sleep and way too much work. Stupid holidays and overtime. I will be grateful whenever the money rolls in but until then, you can't make me!! So, yeah, overtime, and kids keeping me awake way too much this week. Dawn and Amaya came home and I have since taken a dive head first into Oblivion. Its gigantic and time consuming and a fantastic distraction from the craziness, unfourtunatley I am starting to see that sickness side of it that people warned me about. I'm thinking about it at work. All but drumming my fucking fingers on the desk watching the second hand of the clock waiting until I can get home and we can be together again. Real fucking talk. It's odd but for right now I'm rolling with it.

I'm going to try desperately to stay away from computers and video games for a majority of the weekend though and get some stuff done around my house. Michelle and I have a nice date night planned for Friday night. Genesis will be with my Mom and I dont much care what Dawn and Amaya do. I feel disconnected from her lately because of all the upheval and it will be nice to get to spend some quality time together.

I have also decided that I am running away from home on my birthday. perhaps for the entire weekend of my birthday. I'm thinking chalet in the mountains...pool table...hot tub...peace and quiet...Seriously I started doing the research last night and I want to leave right now. However gotta wait til my birthdya. Save up some PTO and some cash. This brings me to my other promise...i don't make New Years resolutions but I did decide in an effort to get time for my birthday and save money, no more fast food or calling in sick until my birthday. We are gonna see how that goes. I totally think I can do it. Its gonna kill me having to make coffee at home though and not just being able to stop at McDonalds on my way to work. I'm going to need some fun coffee creamers.

disconnect, love, kids, birthdays, vacation, family, coffee, genesis, peace
