Torchwood Finale

OMG they killed Tosh! Bastards. Owen's death was coming, but it was a real shame that Tosh had to go too. Maybe she could have become a bit more central now. Ah well.

We get the continuity ref, though, as to why Tosh was there in "Aliens of London". That's nice, I suppose.

The whole 'Jack and his brother' storyline... It just doesn't work for me. It all seems far too trivial, somehow. It happened too long ago, too far away to have any impact, especially since all other circumstances surrounding Grey are completely faceless and undefined (also, Grey called him 'Jack'. Doesn't work, either)

Barrowman's acting like he was dying or being tortured has also been better, on other occasions. :-( And there was way too much gore, much more than I've been used to. I've had to look away because of either atrocious images or atrocious acting several times (not just from JB, either. The actor playing Grey was guilty of some of that, too, and even James Marsters didn't seem to be on top form the whole time).

I liked the glimpse of Victorian Torchwood again, though. Hadn't expected that. Would have liked to see more of Jack explaining the situation, there.

And yay for Andy and Rhys! Double yay for them still being alive! With two TW members gone, can they get bigger roles?
