TODAY IS DAY 1 OF 365 DAYS OF BEARD!
the challenge: clean shaven on Jan 1st, no shaving for the rest of the year (which is actually 366 days, leap year).
several others are participating including: Chris Z, Kevin Rapscallion, Rick Johnson, Ed Goodfiend and perhaps a few others. if you want in, today is the day, must shave by midnight!

ALSO! best new years eve ever. new years eve tradionally sucks, as someone who doesn't care about getting drunk, but this year we got everyone together and we cooked a vegan feast, including: two tofurkeys surrounded by carrots, onions and potatoes. mashed potatoes. sweet potato casserole. stuffing. gravy. garlic bread. asparagus w/ shallots. garlic green beans w/ almonds. apple pie. cupcakes. giant 18" cookie. ALL VEGAN AND ALL MADE FROM SCRATCH (except the stuffing was from a mix)
