What a shitty day. For me. I woke up feeling horrible, with a bad headache and a very sore throat. So I took some aspirin this morning and still I woke up feeling under the weather. and I look outside to see snow?! I had no idea it was supposed to snow. But anyways I sat around here all day laying around and listening to music, and playing Prince of Persia:Warrior Within, which in my mind is a great action game and alot of fun. Like cutting enemies in half down the middle of their body, or decapitating them in slow motion with the swift downward slash of a sword. It's beautiful. I kind of wanted to go to school to get my Ap euro quiz back because I said starting from this quiz on I was getting nothing below an 80% and I am anxious to see what I got. Then again, we had a quiz in British novels and I haven't started the 2nd book in The Once and Future king and we're supposed to have like 9 chapters read by now. I need to start working and stop slacking. I have a C in there so I should be able to bring it up.
But lately nothing's been going on. Last Friday, Brandon asked me if I wanted to go to the mall and so him and his mom picked me up and we went and I had a smashing good time. Saw lotts of people I hadn't seen in awhile like Brittany and Tammera, we hung out with them for a lot of the time, then there was Bryce Brittany (Dickhead), Emily and Lureis and their peoples, and Brittany Knicely, Tina and Hayley, I think that might have been all but if I forgot anyone I apologize x10.
Yesterday I went to Brandon's for awhile and I took my Ps2 so we could get our game on. We played video game Paper Football, video game air hockey and video game darts. Then we played SvR2006 watched Jimmy Hart and Spike Dudley take on Andre the Giant. And we through Jimmy Hat of through tables and off cells for awhile and all was well. I must mention that before I went up, around 3:30 I turned on Full House and watched until it went to a commercial then turned the channels and came to Mtv to see Avenged Sevenfold performing on TRL!! that's really fuckin weird, but I like Avenged Sevenfold alot so it wa awesome. to make it even weirder their video for Bat Country was number 2 on the countdown (take that Shakira, Madonna, AND Mariah Carey). Then later in the show A7X performed live once again. It's so weird seeing Avenged on trl so it's something not to be missed.
Right now, my mom is stuffing her face with cheddar fries and it's disgusting.
Also I made an appointment to visit PTI. From everything that I've heard it sounds like a nice place and like it has alot to offer and I think it sounds right for me so I'm pretty sure I'm going there and when I visit I'll fill out my application and hopefully get accepted, and I'll probably be taking Marketing. I wanted to take something with business, and like marketing or advertising, and PTI souunds good to me.
Hmm what else....in entertainment news, I listen to music everyday (haha who doesn't?) and lately like daily I've been listening to:
-Fear Before the March of Flames
-The Dillinger Escape Plan
-Bear vs Shark
-Becoming The Archetype
-Trivium
-Soilwork
-Devildriver
-Avenged Sevenfold
and since yesterday The Devin Townsend Band!!! I have came to like them alot from the album I have heard. They're so fun.
Some very eclectic bands in that list. Check them out.
Also Phantom of the Opera is right around the corner and I can't wait to see it. I have become pretty familiar with it, and I have the book sitting around so I should read it. I will after I finish the Edgar Cayce biography. Edgar Cayce is amazing from some of the things he predicts in his readings. I'm most astonished with his medical readings by how he heals people when no doctor or anyone could do anything. Cayce would prescribe something and it would work wonders. Like for example, there was a child and he was playing with his father's flashlight kit, and some powder got into his eye and damaged it severely. The doctors said they had to remove the eye to save the boy's life. Cayce said to do nothing until he took a reading. So he did, and prescribed to keep the child in a darkened room for 15 days with dressings soaked in tannic acid solutions on his eyes. The doctors said that that would irreparably damage the delicate tissues of his eye. (I must add that in the other eye he had almost lost his sight completely). so the dressings were applied and in 12 days they were removed and the boy came out and he could see clearly in both eyes. Amazing. and it said little things like Cayce could make flowers grow in places that they had never grown by caressing them and he also cured one of his own medical ailments while in trance and didn't remember a thing about what he said. He is an amazing dude.
On one final note, concert news. The In Flames/Trivium/Devildriver/Zao show is in a few weeks. I cannot fucking wait. I said that Ozzfest '05 was the best show I've ever seen but under the circumstances for the In Flames show, I think it may be the best I've ever seen. Also Ruby said I could borrow her digital camera for pictures, so I will definitely have a poopload of pics after. Then a week later theres a chance me, Mark, and Aaron may go see Opeth/Dark Tranquility and The Devin Townsend band at Mr Smalls. haha how sweet. Thats in February. Then in March theres Children of Bodom in Pittsburgh, and Darkest hour at Mr Smalls, I think.
So an exciting next couple of months. Oh yea and in March I believe the metal torture devices in my mouth may be coming out. if they tell me I have to wait longer, I will grab a drill or something and take them out myself. (not really, but they really should be ready to come off.)
I know I suck at updating LJ on a regular basis. But that's all for now. So I am going to go make some more tea and finish this Devin Townsend Band album thats been playing. Damn I still have a headache. It's been fun. Goodbye.
