Summary:brendon urie attends a prodigious private high school in Las Vegas. ryans the new kid with some interesting new shoes and outlooks. things evolve from there.

Author Notes:
There first four classes they had mostly spent getting to know each other. Though Ryan had promised his mom he'd "try" this time, he'd much rather just slide through those classes he could give a shit about and focus on his two loves: music and getting to know this fine gentleman.
"So i'm mostly just here for the music conservatory. If it had been LVMI i wouldn't of even gotten in," Ryan explained. This was the most talking he'd done in months. Maybe it was because there were never any awkward silences between him and Brendon.
Sexy silences, most definitely, but not awkward.
"That's why i came here too. I just have to get good grades to appease the folks. I don't even know if i'm going to try out for lacrosse this year," Brendon said. He was shocked by his own words.
He knew why he said it though. Because soon he'd have to tell his parents. Last year, Brendon had come out to his mom. She understood and was okay with it. The problem was his dad. He always seemed open to homosexuals, he loved his godson, Gabe, to death even though he was gay. But one night Brendon had walked in on a very unsettling conversation. It was two weeks after Gabe had come out and told Brendon to do the same. That it would make him feel better. Bren was about to tell both his parents when he heard...
"I just don't understand. He could've gone places. My godson ended up like... that?" His father was near tears.
"Honey he'll still make it," his mom consoled.
"No, it's a habit. One he refuses to grow out of."
At that Brendon left and decided to just tell his mom next week. He did and she understood and didn't tell his father. See? Even she knew not to. And they told each other everything.
Next was school. It wasn't really a big shock. He'd always refuse dates to girls saying he only wanted to focus on "school, family and friends".
At first his teammates seemed supportive. But then this summer came and he got no calls from any of them. No parties, no anything. Brendon's summer consisted of a small fling with Will, who later left him because he was in love with this guy named Travis. Brendon actually was relieved, because truthfully it didn't feel right with him. They were meant to be friends and nothing more He actually had become so desperate he tried kissing some girl named Keltie but she was revulsive and went to gay bars in Miami. Nothing worked.
Sometimes he wish he didn't come out.
"Well if you do you'll just have more time with me, which i'll be really happy about," Ryan flirted.
And sometimes he was so glad he did.
By this time they were in the lunch room. Brendon had been dreading this. If this was last year he would've sit with his teammates and laughed at the eating contests and made bad attempts on hitting on girls.
Ryan knew by Brendon's face something wasn't right.
"You don't have to eat with me if you don't want to," Ryan pouted.
"What? Are you kidding me? OF COURSE, i want to eat with you. Just not here. I like talking to you and i cant do that here," Brendon said walking over to Will who was enthralled in text messaging Travis, who was a senior and had Calculus at that moment.
"Hey Will can i borrow the keys to your Honda?" Brendon asked eyeing the table of jocks that loomed in the corner.
"Yeah sure," Will smiled and then added quietly," Don't forget to re-adjust the seats."
Brendon smacked him in the head.
In Will's car, the boys were silent for a moment as Brendon chose a cd: he decided on Meteora: Linkin Park. Brendon could tell Ryan liked the choice when he smiled and bopped his head to the quiet beat.
"Can you tell me why we left the lunch room?" Ryan asked.
"Uh... see i just came out last year. Those guys from my team they seemed supportive at first but they ditched me over the summer. And then Will left me, well gladly there was no chemistry there and i still haven't told my dad. Everywhere I go is an awkward situation. Aren't you glad you had to come into this mess?" Brendon laughed and choked back tears.
At this point, Ryan strangely remembered his little sisters, Abby, Hannah Montana CD
They say that good things take time
But really great things happen
in a blink of an eye
"You seem like a perfectly wonderful mess to me," Ryan said softly but beautifully. Then he kissed Brendon on the cheek. Brendon closed his eyes as he felt Ryan's lips touch his skin and felt butterflies fly in his stomach.
As Ryan pulled away, Brendon pulled him back to his face, "You missed."
At this point, Brendon inched his lips towards Ryan's and Ryan did the same they turned their heads and when their lips touched the song "Somewhere I Belong" hit its peak. It was only for a few moments, delicate and like getting to know someone. Only much more personal.
Brendon felt like he was about to have an erection and personally couldn't deal with Ryan's reaction, "Shit. Class has started. Here go to our homeroom that's where English is. Use the new kid excuse. I'll go to the nurse and say I have a head ache or something."
Ryan was first astonished by Brendon's quick action and second sad he had to leave him for even a minute.
"I know Ry. I'll miss you too. I won't be long i promise. And if i take any longer than 20 minutes you can spank me later," Brendon joked not wanting to see his new beloved sad. But was that joke over the line?
By Ryan's big grin, i would guess...no. Ry simply walked away feeling greater than he ever had in his life.
It took Brendon awhile to calm down. It felt so good to be with this guy. And it had only been one day.
Guess that Brendon will be receiving that spanking.
