Ryan woke up to find himself alone in Brendon's bed.
Was this a way of getting back at him for being such an asshole? Hadn't they just had a wonderful night? What's wrong here?
Then Ryan looked out the screen door out to the patio outside Brendon's room. He saw Bren sitting on a chair with his guitar in his hands. He wasn't strumming, he was just looking at the sunrise.
"Hi," Ryan whispered.
"Hey," Brendon smiled.
"I thought you were mad."
Brendon responded to this by taking Ryan arms putting him around his own neck. Ryan looked down at his true love and tried to kiss him.
"Wait," Brendon joked.
Well deserved for Ryan saying no to him last night.
"Jerk." Ryan joked back
"No I mean I wrote something for you," Brendon said preparing himself to play the song he really just wanted to impress Ryan with.
Ryan couldn't believe he was getting something back:
Things are shaping up to be pretty odd
Little deaths in musical beds
So it seems I'm someone I've never met
You will only hear these elegant crimes
Fall on your ears from criminal dimes
They spill unfound from a pretty mouth
And everybody gets there, everybody gets their
And everybody gets their way
I never said I missed her when everybody kissed her
Now I'm the only one to blame
Things have changed for me, and that's okay
I feel the same, I'm on my way, and I say
Things have changed for me, and that's okay… because you're worth everything.
Ry couldn't help himself. He took Brendon's guitar away and straddled him. He leaned in.
"So I'm guessing you liked it?" Bren grinned.
And Ryan responded to this by kissing him intensley, so hard that they fell off the chair.
And both of them just laughed.

It was within the next month the couples both realized what they had to do. There had just been too many walk ins and awkward conversations to date.
William and Sisky had to go home and tell Will's parents the truth.
Brendon and Ryan had to stay there and continue to make music.
It was Saturday and Will and Sisky were fully packed. Time to go.
Ryan and Sisky were discussing payment plans. They had become friends, but not that great of friends.
Meanwhile Will and Brendon had their final goodbyes. Their fling had now turned into more of a really good friendship.
"So I guess this is bye," Will said. He kind of felt sad losing him.
"Not forever. I promise we'll visit a lot," Brendon said.
But Will knew this wasn't true because love takes over everything and Ryan and Brendon were most definitely in love.
"Ok well, Bren?"
"Yeah?"
"Thanks. For you know... everything."
At this point Brendon and William had their last hug for a long while.
When they broke apart the counterparts of the couples came up. Ryan put his arm around Brendon.
"Good bye guys. Thank you," Ryan said for all of them.
And no one asked what they were thanking for. Because it went without saying.
So Will and Sisky walked to their car. Brendon and Ryan walked back to the porch.
And as Sisky pressed the pedal of the car, him and Will looked at one another and then looked at that house. They both smiled.
There was only one thing they heard as they drove away:
We must reinvent love
reinvent love
reinvent love
