UPDATE!!!!!
Ok, a new development in the Paycheck saga...
I went into work today and my assistant manager tells me that some sketchy guy dropped my check off today. I was a little relieved but then I thought about it a little more and described the guy to her as I remembered my suspect from the bus. She said it was the SAME GUY!!! SHe said he came in and wanted to know when I was working next. She wouldn't tell him because she didn't know him (nice move Cinnamon) but he kept demanding to know when I worked. She got a little mad at this point and said she wouldn't tell him but she would give me a message. He finally gave her my check and said that I dropped it on the bus and he found it. But that, my friends, is impossible. Why? BECAUSE HE GOT OFF THE BUS BEFORE ME!!!! Not only did he get off before me, he RAN off before me.
Now I'm freaked out because not only does he know where I work, but he knows my full name. He left me a note with his name and phone number asking me to call him. There is no way in Hell that I'm going to call some weird middle aged guy that I suspected of stealing my check and confirmed those suspisions by being sketchy and telling a story that doesn't make sense. Now I am super scared that he is going to come into the store again or somehow find out where I live and come for me. I really don't know what to think. What should I do?!?!?! The more I think about it, the more scared I get! I don't want to go to work tomorrow!
