A/N: this was written really quickly, and it's been a while since I've paid attention to this, and I think some non-angst crept in. Wft? Where did my depression go? Oh well, I actually really like this.

Quite nicely done, sort of upbeat but in a low-key life-goes-on-and-sometimes-it-doesn't-suck sort of way. Liked how you handled the breakup with parker (not with a bang but a whimper, heh) and Ethan getting killed off-screen (or should that be off-page?), because that's really all he deservedm (shades of Lindsay's 'Angel kills me!').

Ryan's explanation of why he just up and disappeared actually made sense and seemed reasonable, although he could have called at some later point.

Everyone seems to be giving parker more credit than he deserved. Maybe it's because they couldn't see what you showed us of his thought processes (particularly the way he saw Taylor as a trophy and thinking that demon hunting was cool), but really. The guy knew Ethan was out there, had reason to suspect he might show up and cause trouble, and never said anything? And wouldn't admit it after Taylor and Summer were kidnapped until threatened? He really was not a 'decent guy'.

Loved everything about how you handled Seth and Summer's reconciliation, particularly the 'eat more vegetables' and Taylor's 'seeing her soldier off to war' was solid gold (you really nailed her voice with that line, I thought).

This was just what I needed after a long stressful day and the trauma of what Brandy is currently doing to Taylor (if it's not one of you it's the other).

I think you may have wanted Parker's exit to be bigger than he deserves. I kind of just wanted him out of the way.

The Seth/Summer part was probably my favorite scene. Maybe of this whole thing. I don't really know why.

No, Parker's exit didn't need to be any bigger, I just thought he didn't deserve any degree of forgiveness or guilt from the main characters - he wasn't worthy of even that much consideration.
