I got into UMass Amherst finally. It's been long enough of a wait before I knew. I'm glad I finally heard because now I can put my deposit down, but I'm still pissed about Stonehill and Wheaton. Emerson, not so much, because I was expecting a rejection, so waitlist is pretty good. But to be waitlisted at Stonehill and Wheaton? I just wasn't expecting that. I guess I was only thinking in terms of accepted/rejected. This annoying "in the middle" area is frustrating. I don't want to have to wait another two months to know if I got in. Just tell me now if I'm going or not.
I do like UMass a lot, so it's good I finally heard. But I still would rather go to Stonehill or Wheaton. I like that they're both smaller and I wouldn't know most of the people going there, where with UMass so many kids from my school go. It's nice to know people, but I don't know. Please make them send me letters now knowing if I'm in or not. And please, if I get in, make them both give me lots and lots of money (which definitely won't happen) so my parents will be fine with me going there, rather than UMass. That would be perfection.
