(no subject)
man, school is really winding down. it's crazy, only like 20 more days and then i'll be a freaking senior! scaaary.
well guys, the pin comes out in just 7 days. i am sooo excited. i never thought that i would be excited about some guy in white gloves yanking metal out of my hand with pliers, but, nontheless, i am. sorry if that was a bit graphic. i asked if they were going to give me some knock-out medicine or pain killers or whatnot. guess what their answer was..."are you kidding?" heh. thaaaat's real exciting.
i can't wait to play softball again. i bet i cried for three days after it happened just because i wouldn't be able to play that game for a while. i decided to play in windsor again this summer and i made it to one practice before the injury. they seemed to think i was decent. i guess they thought i sucked or something because when the coach was like, "ok stephanie, see if you can throw it to second on the steal", i threw it and they were like WHOOOOAAA. made me feel good, at least. well, our first game was last night. we won, and it felt great even though i couldn't play. i like my team.
i've come to the conclusion that i really don't care what anyone thinks of me. i'm tired of trying to a certain way to please people. it's me...take it or leave it.
and on that note, i think i'll go do something productive.
