3 cheers for an uneventful spring break!

i really haven't done much of anything lately. let's see, sunday was easter. we went and ate with both grandparents then rolled home after being stuffed twice. monday, it rained. so i don't think i did anything.

tuesday, i got up early and met my pop in rich square to go to the hunting club. we went fishing and rode the four wheelers. it as so much fun. i love it down there not because i'm some obsessed redneck or anything, but simply because of it's beauty and serenity. i find it absolutely amazing how the only sound to be heard is the chatting of birds in the trees and the quiet sound of water rushing through creeks and rivers. amazing how beautiful nature is. enough of my naturalism, we fished for shad, which involved constant casting and reeling in. my favorite. we ended up with about twenty i think. not bad for a day's work. we rode the four wheelers and when we were going down this pathway, a herd of deer were pouncing across the path. they simply trotted into the other side into the brush. i was amazed. a little further, we came upon a group of turkeys. we stopped and pop said, "why don't you see how close you can get," adding a wink and the go-ahead to see what that honda was made of. chasing the turkeys until finally i was so close their wings began to flap and they flew into the air in sheer terror, i could do no other than let out an incredibly loud giggle followed by an enormous grin. my pop just shook his head from side to side.

oh, the simple pleasures in life.

when i returned to murfreesboro, i joined lauren at napolis for a nice lunch before practice. it was great to catch up with her. it's been a while. hopefully, there will be more outtings in the future. which reminds me, i need to call laura. because she's a cool cat, and we need to hang out.

today, i went shopping with my grandma and aunt to rocky mount. i had fun, and even indulged in some new underwear. :)

only 4 more days of spring break left. and surprisingly, no homework. which leaves me with one thing to do over the next four days: relax.

i made a wish in a wishing well today. i think there's a chance of it coming true.

do you think it's possible, or just the luck of the draw?
