i need a lover that won't drive me crazy.
this weekend was pretty cool.
friday night, leslie and i ventured over to the northeast football game. it was more fun than i expected, even if we didn't talk to that dan dude. i so knew it was him, but leslie wouldn't let me talk to him. sadly, nea lost 42-0. poor boys. candi's mom gave us a ride home, so mom wouldn't have to come get us. interesting conversations.
saturday, i woke up around 12. i was so refreshed. made my way up to the chowan homecoming later on. pretty cool. there seems to be a pattern of losing on homecoming around here. but it's all good in the hood. whitney and jessica came around halftime and we left later in the 3rd quarter to go to fall festival at school. it was boring. we watched the boys vs. the dads then we left.
after church on sunday, whitney and i went to the baseball game at chowan. whit's cousin was playing on the other team, so we cheered for both sides. we stopped by andy's house on the way home for a little while, then headed home for supper.
after practice yesterday, i was doing my homework downstairs when the doorbell rang. to my surprise, david shaw was at the door. missed that kid. haven't seen him since the day they left, which is mostly my fault since i neglected to see him during labor day weekend. then last night, andy and i went on our routine bike ride. needless to say, i was really tired this morning. got ready in a miraculous 20 minutes, shower included. impressive, i think, seeing how my hair is like 10 pounds. well, probably not.
i've discovered that i can hardly go a sentence without saying "like". i think i need to work on that along with expanding my vocabulary.
god, i love cold weather. hoodies, scarves, gloves...yay.
