(no subject)
today was a good day.
i went to the library to get my final 2 hours needed for last year. yea, last year. so now i can actually go to volleyball practice when it starts next monday. that's way too early. but anyhow, i can go.
leaving the library, it started to rain on me. but it was fun riding in the rain, once again.
later i went over to the martin's and hung out with andy and matt. we played room raiders. except it was rigged. how you ask? well, for one, i knew what they both looked like. and two, andy rigged his room by putting all the guitars in there. we played bible trivia with a brainiac question booklet we found in andy's room. i was thoroughly impressed by their knowledge, and somewhat embarrassed by mine. andy told me the story of balaam's ass. who knew the bible was so entertaining? we played some ping pong, and for the first couple of games i was doing pretty good. but it was all downhill from there. we'll leave it at that. definitely had a slight electric jam session. greatness, that is. played a new card game that will definitely be taught at school this year so we can continue our ritual of growing in our card playing skills, and decreasing in our knowledge skills. seems to be working wonders, eh? too much coordination involved for me, i couldn't keep up. mostly because andy cheats. but nontheless, a wonderful day with the martin's.
when i got home, lee had called. i've been awaiting an email saying if he could or couldn't come to the watermelon festival. well, not only did he call instead, he called to say he could come. so i called him back and his whole family is coming. this way, he won't get to spend the night at my house, but it's okay. do that another time. so yea, he's coming up for the parade on saturday and staying until whenever. should be fun.
i'm definitely looking forward to this watermelon festival. it'll be some of the last times we'll get to hang out with andy and dave and jon before they go back to school. so far, it promises to be a grand time.
while we were eating supper, hayes called. haven't talked to her in a while. turns out, she's at myrtle beach. which is precisely the place i'm going wednesday. and she's not leaving until thursday. meeting hayes somewhere at the beach? HECK EFFIN YEA. and that's all i have to say about that.
talked to whitney tonight too. she's been at her dad's for about a month.

this was definitely the day of random calls and good times in the neighborhood.
