Las Vegas
This weekend was one of the most amazing weekends of my life.
I woke up at 7:15 in the morning on friday, and got ready. Andrew got dropped off, and we drove up to Las Vegas. On the way there there was this rest stop with like every restraunt: Taco Bell, Baja Fresh, In and Out, Carls Jr, Burger King, Jack in the Box, KFC, Panda Express, Starbucks, and Subway. Anyways, we went in a "caravan" with Kylen's family and Scott. We got to the Paris hotel around like 3 and checked in etc. We went up to the room, and Andrew Kylen and I watched MORE Aqua Teen Hunger Force & South Park on my iBook. We met up with the "group": Kylen's family, Erik's Family, and Kiarash's Family+Andrew&Scott. We finally ALL went to the best buffet ever for dinner and ate a LOT. Then we went out walking on the strip. Get this: there was like literally 100000 porn adds everywhere on the street, i picked up like uhm 75 or more? Lmao, parents were even handing them to me going like "here Chris". It was hilarious. Then we went to the M&M's store. IT WAS 4 FLOORS! It was filled with like EVERYTHING you could think of about M&M's. We checked out the arcade next door and then went back to the hotel to sleep. Then yesterday we woke up and I showered before we went to the same buffet for buffet breakfast. We relaxed and chilled&got ready for the Red Hot Chili Peppers and Weezer. We stopped to get Subway and waters on the way there, it took like 45 minutes to get there and my mom took Andrew, Kiarash, and I. While Kylen's mom took everyone else except kiarash's brothers and his foreign exchange student [Filipo, from Italy]. Filipo= The best. Anyways, we got there at like 2:30 and waited 4 hours for it to start. I bought a burger and a RHCP shirt. Though i had my shirt off the whole time cuz it was about 105º outside. It finally started at 6:30, this punk band called The Adolescents opened for Weezer. Everyone hated them, but they weren't THAT bad. Finally at about 7:30 Weezer started! They played Hash Pipe, Photograph, (Undone) The Sweater Song, Beverly Hills, We're All On Drugs, and a few more, those were the best though. They were overall good live, not that great stage presence though. FINALLY at like 9 Red Hot Chili Peppers Came On!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They were my favorite of all time! They were AMAZING!!! Flea did a bass+trumpet solo (with John on the bass). John did a guitar solo, and Chad Smith aka Will Farell lookalike owned on drums. Anthony Kiedis wore some really cool gloves and was amazing at singing live. Red Hot Chili Peppers played like 20 songs!!! They played like 2 new ones. Plus they played Brandy and I Feel Love (two really good covers). They played Californication, By The Way, Otherside, Can't Stop, Bass Solo, Throw Away Your Television, Give It Away, Get On Top, Parallel Universe, Don't Forget Me, Under the Bridge, Scar Tissue, Soul To Squeeze, Fortune Faded, and Some Funky Song, I think they played a few more though. This was the most amazing concert i will probably ever go to. There was around 45,000 people there.
