Well every semester the parking at Palomar gets more and MORE outragous. It gets more expensive and harder to find parking. Last Spring I had a class at 9am so I'd get there at 5am and take a nap until then. Well now since my on-campus class WAS at 11am I didn't want to sleep in my truck that late (it gets REAL hot). So last Thursday (the second meeting of my class) I drove around for 40 minutes and unsuccesfully found parking (I would've been ridiculously late HAD I found parking so I just went home). Then today I got there an hour early, drove around for an hour and found no parking, killed 1/4 a tank of gas and drove home again. I had to drop the fucking class and now I'm pissed.
The whole community college scene out here in San Diego was bull shit right from the get-go when I moved back out here 2-1/2 years ago and it's only gotten worse. The teachers are BAD bad, the parking is of course ridiculous, tuition has more than doubled, and I've just gotten burnt out of it.
So this has been leading up and I anticipate getting out of San Diego in the next year and a half or so. Of all the places I've lived THIS is the biggest piece of shit place of all and I just can't handle it any more. So yeah.
