Christmas Day
Christmas morning...started off great...hit a few bumps throughout the afternoon...and then leveled out as the rest of the day continued. I woke up this morning to lotsa gifts. Dont ya love that feeling? I got gift cards, clothes, shoes, jewelry, money, and a pool table. Exciting huh? Generally, I am happy. (happy with how things went, not necessarily happy about how thing are). So confusing and precise all at the same time. ?!?!?!?!?!
My day...
Woke up, opened gifts. Got ready...went to the hospital and visited my dad for about an hour. ::saddness:: Then went to the nursing home to see Pop. ::more saddness:: WOW. 1st time ever I'd seen him cry. In so many years he hasn't cried, and today he let it out and said, "In all my 86 years it makes me upset that this is the first time I won't be spending Christmas with the family" He didn't say it steadily...it was those words in between the tears. Well. did that get meeee upset. Then we went home for a bit. Mom finished cooking. Shortly after, we went to see Aunt Sophie and Uncle Carl. Stayed for a bit and then went off to Leah's. Chip and Jen were home from college so it was great seeing them. It's only been so many years. We had fun..ate alot..hung out. Opened gifts..the normal Christmas doings PLUS alcohol. Haha. My mom is loud and crazy enough SOBER. Can you imagine..? wait no you really don't want to. After a while. Kenny came, an Todd came. Didn't see too mucha them. We were all downstairs playing a game and watching Viva La Bam. Love it. So yea, finally we came home. Watched Stigmata. GOOOD MOVIE. See it.
I got this necklace. I love it. White gold heart locket, a D with diamonds in it. Custom made, and brand new style chain. Georgeous. I really love it. I love all my gifts, but this is one a the many special ones. Always wanted something like this<3 [and] I'm a sucker for jewelry. ;)
Allright. Well it's time for bed. I'll post tomorrow probrably. And I think i might add some more pictures :)
