The trials and tribulations of pregnancy, Week 24

Why is it that vending machines never ever have anything nice in them? I'm constantly hungry at the moment - it doesn't seem to matter how much food I bring in from home, by 2pm my stomach's rumbling. Whoever said that pregancy was great 'cos you could eat whatever you wanted must have liked chocolate, and ice cream, and biscuits. I don't, and there's only so many kilos of fruit I can eat in one day. Grrr.....I have to make a choice between a bowl of muesli (but I've already had one today) and a flapjack from the machine (but they're horribly sweet). Which should I go for? It's quite a dilemma. Whoever invents vending machines with nice things in them should get a noble prize.

I can feel the baby kicking a lot now, which is cool - it feels a bit odd, and it looks even odder to see my stomach moving all on its own, but it's nice to know she's in there and moving around. It's strong enough for Mat to be able to feel it as well - guess what his comment was? Not the typical 'oh, she'll be a footballer/kickboxer with a kick like that' but 'I can tell her first character's going to be a monk martial artist.' Big sigh.
