On Tuesday I went back to the eye doctor for my 6/7-day check-up. By then most people can see pretty well and they're signed off for driving - not me. I went back again today, still no. So it's now been 8 days and my vision is still cloudy. It's improving, but slowly.
Most of the reason for this is because I had the surface ablation, rather than having a flap cut in my eye. The rest is because I'm just healing slowly for some reason. Oh well. I get flashes of clarity when everything's perfectly clear, but they don't last.
For anyone who's considering getting laser surgery, my one piece of advice would be to get it done in winter - it's not much fun being stuck inside on a beautiful sunny day because your eyes are too light sensitive to go out.
