Advice from mums to a mum-to-be
OK, I started doing this for my brother, but then...............
As Nick & Kelly are expecting their first baby in a few months I started to think about all the advice (wanted or not!) that people had given me when I was expecting my two, and I thought about putting together a sort of book for Nick on 'advice on becoming a father', with advice contributed by all the dads I know. So I asked all the dads I knew, and got lots of advice. Then Wu demanded to know why I was only doing one for Nick, and not Kelly? I tried telling her that there's already so many books out there for women that I didn't need to, but she wouldn't listen. And she's probably right! So, I'm going to do one for Kelly too, asking all the mums I know to contribute!
So, would you mind contributing some words of wisdom? Anything at all, serious or not, three words or three hundred - anything you think she might appreciate! I will quote people as 'first name, last initial' (e.g. Liz S) unless anyone asks to be anonymous or to give their full name.
