HOK ranks as the world’s second-largest architecture practice in the 2008 edition of the BD World Architecture 200, the annual benchmark survey of the architectural profession.
Commissioned and published by London-based Building Design magazine, the rankings are based on the number of fee-earning architects in 2007. HOK has 1,205 architects worldwide, 11 fewer than first-ranked Gensler at 1,216. HOK also ranked 7th out of 100 firms for non-architectural creative staff.
The survey also ranks HOK among the top 10 global practices in the following geographic regions (based on fee income):
