I didn't buy anything... including a piston engine (Monty Python reference).
I have a horrendous time doing Christmas shopping every year. I swear the retailers all get together and hide the stuff I think would make good presents until the week before Christmas. I don't especially mind going out in the crowds... it kind of makes me cheerful really to have so many people around me spending all sorts of money... must be the accountant side. I think I'll probably end up copping out and doing gift cards again. They're too darn easy and convenient, except for a couple of things I found that was just right.
