Went downstairs to have my dinner today 'cos there were only some leftovers which weren't exactly very appetising. My mum offered to accompany me because she was probably a little guilty that she didn't have any proper food for me.
After dinner, we decided to go to the Shop n' Save in my neighbourhood. We walked pass this shop that sells lots of random items with part of the shop being converted into a counter selling handphones / accessories. There were 2 new game machines which I'd actually noticed them like last week, as they were new additions to the shop (the shop never had game machines). I've this addiction to game machines and those "put-in-money-and-turn-the-knob" kinda machines so I'm always very curious to find out how they work, so I stopped by to take a closer look at it. Then the auntie tending the shop came over and told me abit more about the machines. One machine required some skill, whereby you need to press the button at the right time in order to win something; while the other machine probably only required luck. The latter didn't look very interesting, so I decided to try my hand at the first machine. And it's only 20 cents per try!
Spent about $3.20 (the first $2 was spent trying to get used to the speed of the whole thing... i.e. wasted :P) and won these prizes!
After getting the hang of it, it wasn't exactly that hard to win.
Then we decided that that was enough, so went over to Shop n' Save. Walked around and was at this area selling flour. Saw this (pic below) and said to my mum jokingly, "妈... 不然以后我学做包, 然后开一家 "蓝记包点" 啦?" Then she laughed and then I emphasized to her "好像粗话hor? LAN JI... wahaha" :P
I was thinking, aiseh... can u imagine, someone buy my PAUs and then let's say my buns are like BIGGER than other brands... will some auntie say this in hokkien to her friend who bought the PAUs?
"WAH! LE BUEY EH LAN JI SIBEI DUA LIAP!"
LOL!
Lol...
lol.
lol?

Umm ok... sorry! just a joke! In real life i'm really very much more DEMURE. my friends and colleagues can VOUCH for that. ;p
