Filming for 抢摊大行动
Was on leave last Monday and coincidentally, my friend from TV side asked if I were free to go be part of 抢摊大行动 filming. I get to eat FREE muffins! Of course, being yao kwee (literally a hungry ghost), I couldn't reject it, could i? :P Was asking around for other friends who might be able to make it but somehow everyone's busy on a Monday - either working or studying. Got my mum to go with me for this. But we really waited for quite a long time, just to eat the muffins! Fortunately they're not bad afterall...
Let me just give a brief introduction of this variety show. Basically, the TV people will locate a store that is doing very badly, and then get experts to help and save their business. For example, teach the store owner how to improve on their sucky food / bad decor etc. In this case, the arrangement of the interior of the stall was changed, the recipe was changed, and the stall name was changed too.
So basically they started using the new recipe on the day we went down, and apparently they sold like 5 boxes of muffins in the morning already. (Previously business was sooooooooooo bad that the worst they did was to sell only 2 muffins a day, and each muffin only costs $1!)
The filming took place at Amoy Street Food Centre Level 2 - Missy Muffins (previously the store's called "Ali Ba Ba" or something... can't really recall. lol.)

p.s. I hope I'm not the April Fool's Joke? like ya know maybe words like "GLUTTON EYEING THE MUFFINS" will appear on screen when the camera shoots me. lol.
