Have you seen the ghost of Tom?
Bones of white with the skin all gone.
Wouldn't it be chilly with no skin on?

no skin, ghosts

Actually... it would be painful, and ultimately compromise one's immune system to have no skin.

Not that it should matter, anymore... it would seem that our immune systems have failed us spectacularly.

I'm lost... I'm trying to get to the hospital, but I can't find my way.

Ghosts don't need skin, nor do zombies.

Perhaps we are all destined to become zombified.

I'm in the hospital, otherwise I'd give you a ride.

Right, but they would have once, if we make the ridiculous allowance for such hypothetical speculation.

"Destiny" is a lazy man's way to shirk the responsibility of planning.

I know... and thank you. But in about a minute, I am going to collapse and someone will probably do something.

I suppose that is true, I hadn't considered that perspective.

Of course it is, not everyone likes to use 'procrastinate' as an excuse.

You know? Are you reading my mind? If so, what are you thinking I'm thinking?

I can't read minds. I can barely read expressions... so I don't think that...

Ah, well that's good to know young man, otherwise we'd have an issue.

Issues? A lifetime subscription... a joke?

I don't understand what you're implying.

There are moments when hideous possibilities besiege us like a throng of furies and break down the doors of our brain.

Oh, that's... Les Miserables. Page 466.

It is. For some reason that sprung to mind.

No, it didn't.

It sprang to mind.

Why thank you, for correcting me.

You're very welcome. I like to fix things that are imperfect... it's in my nature, I guess.

I have the feeling that having that in your nature could get you a boot to the head from less intellectually inclined folk.

Why would someone put a boot on my head? Are you delirious now, too?

No no, not on your head, a boot to the head. Possibly upside it. I'm inferring they would attempt to kick your ass, young man.
