(no subject)
I'm sick again, got a headache, fever, sore throat and runny nose ._. I feel terrible. Being sick is a bitch, i swear :P
Anyways, school was only bearable today because there were so many slack blocks and photo taking. The cohort photo taking was shyt, how could one even see one's face? Impossible, with like 400+ people in one picture ._. Chinese was wasted because 06 and 07 had photo taking, so we couldn't do much. Laoshi was quite funny telling me and my friend that we could not have chinese because no one was around. Then we didn't go for PE, since i was feeling terrible anyway, and I have an MC :D Bio was okay, with the PTC tasting thing, and going over stem cells and reviewing results for gel electrophoresis. Given that I could not even taste my dinner, it was a miracle that I could actually taste the bitter PTC with my non-responsive tastebuds. And I could taste it rather strongly, imagine if my tastebuds were actually working that day :O So then bio teacher analysed the results and then she went, "this one is very interesting, (counts who's it' is) who is 12,13?" It happened to be me, and I had two bands, instead of the more conventional one. bio teacher, "bitter right?" I nodded, it was bitter. Then another gal from class said that her bands were next to mine, and they were the same, but she couldn't taste anything. Bio teacher, "Huh, not bitter?! Try again, try again" So she got somemore PTC strips for her to try, and she had to like stuff it in her mouth and leave it there for like sometime before she tasted it mildly. Bio teacher, "Can taste right? Main issue is can taste or not?" LOL it was so funny, obviously if you had 2 bands you should be able to taste, like me. And I think if you have one band below, then you might or might not be able to taste, because you probably have one recessive and one dominant. To have 2 dominant, means that you probably taste it strongly.
And today for class photo taking, we climbed the gate to take a photo. And a gal from class asked her dad to drive his porsche cayman here to make it flashy/cool. So I was on the gate, and there were people around the car. Many people take a picture at the gate, but few have a flashy car to go along with it. Though I think that it might get rejected by the school :O Oh wells
