Michelle starts on her new job at a sluggish FMCG department, where she discovers that the department is extremely disorganised and the employees are undisciplined. Power finds out about Joe’s divorce and although he promised to keep it a secret, but the next day, the female employees pester him non-stop. In order to supplement her income to pay off her debts from plastic surgery, Power arranges for her to become the spokesperson for a company, but she meets her parents ‘Weixiong’ and ‘Ziyan’. After eating dinner at ‘Liqiu’ restaurant, Michelle returns home to discover that Dominic has invited friends over (in an attempt to salvage the situation) (xuelx: I think that is what they are trying to say, but I’m not sure), but Michelle reveals that they are getting divorced. Joe informs Maggie that they have lost a large volume of cosmetics due to a mishap out at sea. When Maggie is at the company’s anniversary event, she suddenly receives word of the importers defaulting on their deposits.

Elena suddenly is on good terms with Joyce, and further suggests a collaboration with Michelle…Maggie and ‘Hua Tai Hou’ bump into each other, and received inspiration from her (Xuelx: I think?)…A well-dressed Maggie appears at a bar, and initiates a kiss with Joe. After spending a night together (Xuelx: I have no idea what sort of night it was, but the translator says that it means enthusiastic, but it doesn’t seem to fit.), they decide to start afresh. To enable Joyce to rebuild her life, Power suggests a full body makeover. When ‘Tony’ visits Joyce, he suggests for them to get back together. Michelle secretly informs Joyce, that another company has contacted her and offered her a job, to lure her away. When Michelle prepares to sign the contract, Joe suddenly appears and prevents her from doing so, further alleged that fraud was taking place. It was actually all Dominic’s idea… Maggie publicly accused Joyce of being the traitor who leaked the plans to Elena.

Michelle returns to the company, only to find that the orders have been sabotaged, and Joyce points out that the saboteur must have seized time when everyone was out for lunch to tamper with it.
