Livejournal, why are you always down these days
I can't believe that Mac users have the nerve to complain that the OSX Lion update takes 8 minutes to install when I just spent about 1 hour trying to get Windows 7 to install on my laptop. I didn't buy my beloved Macbook to use Windows, but I had to. There's this software I'm supposed to use for class next semester, but I seriously can't get it to open even though it's supposed to work on Mac. I suspect it's because
a) I have to be on the NUS network to run it and NUS WebVPN is infamous for refusing to work on anything that's not IE
b) When the developers say it's supposed to work on Mac, I think they mean Mac OS Tiger
c) Apparently science students are allergic to Apple or something
Which is a shame, really. Because we now know that Apple has more money than the US government. Which probably says more about the US government than it does about Steve Jobs' ambition to take over the world.
