packing
I tried to do my homework online, but I kept feeling the unpacked things behind me in the house. Finally I just gave in and packed more boxes. Now that I am getting toward the end, the boxes are less homogenous and have varieties of items in them, trying to get it all in . I am keeping a notebook with the contents of each box, all numbered. Finally hit box number 80 today. Just maybe 10 more to go I would say. Tomorrow I will finish off my room and the kitchen, as much as I can. I will dismantle the kitchen computer.
Out at the new house today, the worker were working away. One had hammered all the tile out of one bathtub, leaving the bare fixtures. He will take them out tomorrow and put in a big shower pan, then start tiling with new tile. I will have that bathroom in about 10 days. Meanwhile Isuppose I will have workers in my house each day....how nasty. Its the transition days I am nervous about. The moving day will be just what it is...there will be 4 men and 2 trucks at a cost of about 1800$. Then all tis stuff will be there. I won't be able to use the garage at first as the workmen need to keep their tools and lumber in there. It will be 2 days after I move in before we have technology. I suppose I can jook into my phone line to go online for that time. I feel like I am stepping out of the shuttle into space.
