THE WEBSITE
I am a self proclaimed Tech Idiot.
I am the dinosaur among the peers. Never really into the gadgets, and hopeless in the modern world of technology. I resisted a smartphone for a considerably long time for a Singaporean of my generation. Pen and paper or anything caveman style is my preferred mode of operations.
Not long after starting this new role, I was given a major project:
Revamp the website
O_O
I msg the bestie and buddy immediately. They know what I'm like re tech stuff. Not sure if they nearly died laughing or were absolutely horrified re my predicament.
Fast forward 6 months later......
THE WEBSITE IS UP!!!!!!!!!!
No. I did not have to build it or do the actual coding. But everything else since the start of the project, yes.
I am so damn proud of me.
It was meant to go live yesterday but failed to make it due to technical issues.
My day was peppered with msgs from the husband and the bestie and a phonecall from the mother-in-law to wish me well for the launch.
Throughout the project, the bestie had even helped send info re websites, gave me tips from her own experience and simply being bestie and my cheerleader. *muakz*
Yesterday, she sweated with me and saw me through my roller coaster day with her encouragement.
The husband, bless him, was just supportive. Sending me to the station early, picking me up when I come back late after work. Yes, even though I have my car, he insists it's safer with his company when it's dark. Dinners get served up right in front of me over the last few hectic days.
Husband to me last night,"I was thinking of you all day, wondering how you were going."
I am so blessed.
