(no subject)
so last night was full of excitment.
we went to one of our friends b-day lunches. i got to see steven, cheryl, and talon (the new baby). he's adorable!
we got home and cleaned up... sounds like a normal day right? well we started to watch mr. and mrs smith and got almost all the way through it when matt got radioed by randy (his stepdad). right when his radio went off i saw lighting flash through our top window in the livingroom. thinking nothing of it i went back to the movie. by this time i hear matt going "no way.... your kidding!" and walks outside. thats when i heard the tornado siren go off. i stopped the movie and put on the news. they said that there was tornadic activity headed right over coweta co.(newnan, peachtree city, ect...) we grabed the dogs, blankets, leashes, and the tv from our room and sat in the back bathroom for about an hour until the storm had passed over us. it was crazy scarey. i've never heard and tornado siren before. its like you know what it sounds like so if you heard one you would know it. but once you hear one it strikes a whole diffrent level of fear in your mind. it was totally freaky. this is the second time this week that we had been under a tornado warning. one had actually touched down over by thomas crossroads on friday. its only like 20-ish min. away from us and i was home alone that time. it's crazy....
on a happier note... i have a job interview today. lets hope it goes well.
