Four people died in the 6 p.m. crash just north of the intersection at U.S. 41 and Constitution Boulevard in San Carlos Park, according to the Florida Highway Patrol. Paramedics treated the fourth victim of the three-car crash, a pregnant woman, for 30 minutes inside the car before covering the body with a sheet.

At least one of the males thrown from the Honda survived long enough to talk to another motorist, but died before paramedics arrived, witnesses said.
"He was alive before he went into shock, but I guess it was too late," said Daniel Fischer, 17.
