love is in the air
okay, so the show 'perfect proposal' on tlc is basically the best show ever. the one i watched today had this guy who wanted to propose to his girlfriend (duh) so he, with the help of the show, sets up this elaborate obstacle course to make his girlfriend think that they're on a reality show for couples who compete against each other by playing the games on the obstacle course. so the other contestants, who are all in on the secret, let the guy win so he and his soon-to-be fiance are the last remaining couple. she has to put these shoes on and hop across a velcro mat that the shoes stick to. well, she's two hops into it when the guy pulls out the ring and says, 'need a little encouragement?' and she just starts bawling! and so does he! it was the most beautiful thing i have ever seen. he said things like, 'you are the most beautiful person i know.', 'your humor, kindness, and spirit make me want to be a better person.', 'i want to spend the rest of my life with you.' yadda yadda yadda. i was crying like a damn baby. i mean, not just tearing up but heaving and sobbing! of course she said yes. it was amazing! i know a lot of people are skeptical when it comes to love and relationships, but i know that's just because they haven't found the right person yet. you can be really close to being with the right person, but for some reason or another, it just doesn't work out. and that sucks and your heart is broken. but there is just no way that there isn't somebody for everybody. i refuse to believe that! love is too beautiful and complicated and hopeful for it not to be for everyone. that being said... somebody find me a hot and willing indian to make babies with! kthnxbye.
