WonderCon 2010 [post con round-up]
I went with my friend Michelle, for starters, so there were two of us.
Right away yesterday, in the very first booth I visited, I found myself those JLI Booster and Ted figures (Thighmaster Booster and Chubby Ted!) and they are just so awesome. The Ted one is amazing. His pudge is just the cutest thing!). We wandered a lot yesterday and then settled down in the hallway to watch for cosplayers, like the awesome Justice League, and their perfect Superman. And this fucking great Marvel!Ares. And a full armoured Iron Man with a WWII!Cap. At one point they were talking together in a vaguely gay way XD Then we bought some animu posters, quite a few for eerisedda's birthday and several for ourselves. Finally we went back to eerisedda's for her party/watching Sherlock Holmes/Iron Man/Once More With Feeling/awesomeness.
So today we arrived late, but that was okay. We bought a whole bunch of movie-sized posters. Young Avengers (:D), Spiderwoman, a Wonder Woman poster for my mom, a Phineas and Ferb poster for my brother and a really cool Black Canary poster for Michelle's room, and idk maybe something else. I was kind of overwhelmed cause we finally went into the Artist's Alley intentionally and found David Mack's table. I repeat, David Mack. JUST. HOLY SHIT. OMG. I BOUGHT SIGNED PRINTS AND TOOK A PICTURE AND TALKED TO HIM AND HE GAVE ME FREE SIGNED STUFF AND I TALKED TO HIM AND HE IS SO NICE AND I TALKED TO HIM /hyperventilates

I also got a free sketch of Ted and Booster from the artist of Mini Marvels and they are so cute. I bought a sticker from the booth we stopped at to roll up our prints for safe transport. It says "Reptile Dysfunction". I thought it was funny and we felt bad for using their table. After, we went to the t-shirt booth and I bought a Superboy shirt ("They were his colours.") and a Captain Morgan America shirt as well as Wonder Woman and Rebel/Empire shotglasses for my parents. Finally, we stopped at the very same booth we started at and found some cheap Heroclix so now I have tiny Ice, tiny Skrull!Hank Pym, tiny Iron Fist, tiny Dazzler, tiny Ted, tiny Eli Bradley, tiny Manhunter (Kate Spencer), and tiny Polaris! <3
And then the con closed and it was pouring on the way to Muni. It was pretty crazy. We had Thai food and we're spending the night/missing class, so we watched Dr. Horrible and I'm sitting here typing.
It was a good weekend. :D
