RIP . . .
Today was April 12th...it seems so hard to believe that a year ago today was the day that Kevin Aleck was hit by that car and died. I didn't even know him, but I feel so sad that he had to go. I know that Kevin was a great person, and that he didn't deserve to die. But I guess he's much better off in Heaven, where he can be with God. Everyday, I drive by the place on Laraway where he was hit, with a giant cross and a giant stuffed panda, and loads and loads of flowers. I get sad all over again, it just reminds me of how much he was loved, and how much he's missed. I can't imagine how hard it must be for his family, and his friends, considering I know how hard it was for the people that didn't even know him.
And I know some people that didn't know him...that don't care one bit that he died. I just can't believe someone would feel that way...I just don't understand.
So anyways, please, pray for Kevin, the Aleck family, and everyone and anyone that was affected by his loss.
We'll be seeing you soon, Kevin.
