Does It Really Matter?
A lot of people have been dogging this book since Frey publicly admitted on Oprah how loosely the book was based on his life. Okay, really...so what? Okay, he doesn't deserve credit for lying to his readers but does it still make it a bad book? No, if you ask me. Whether it was real or not (because I did begin to wonder how true a lot of it was towards the end), it was still a great read. I'd still recommend it to my friends. Nonetheless, I think Frey has a great writing ability and in the end, that's what counts.
So people, stop tripping. Because really, you're giving the guy more credit than he really deserves.
