my birthday was visited by great friends and loves (carla, zack, jesse, jimmie, alex, mark, matt, mccaskill, justen, laura, kenny, chris, oliver, nate, michael, and colby), great films (8 1/2, raging bull, clerks, wassup rockers, leone the professional), great books (lonesome traveler, killing yourself to live, walden, welty's the robber bridegroom, the road, ham on rye [on hardcover!!!!!!!!!]), and of course mma.

i had a good 23rd.
