Welp, A lot of people are dying to get a little piece of what our band sounds like. To bad we only got two songs, however, here are the lyrics for out two songs.
I think the first song is going to be called Forbidden. I first wrote this song when I was working on a project from a very talented guitarist named Keith, unfortunatly we both had very different styles and decided it wouldn't be right to work together. When Cavity Search / Band 57 got back together I took these lyrics and began to work them into our first song. This song is about a girl who feels she is left alone and abandoned when really there is a guy looking after her. When he tries to help her she denys him and won't accept his help so he turns his back on her and she keeps falling because she can not learn from her mistakes. Finally she realizes she loves this guy and runs back to him.

This second song was created when we had a keyboardist visit our band, Mike. Mike came up with a cool sounding violin tune that was very melodic. As I freestyled the lyrics it just seemed right to make a song about the war going on in the middle east. I have many friends out there fighting for the country that they grew up in. I wish that their lives will continue everytime I wake up and they will be safe and go home sane. This song is about warrior who has taken many lives. After years of service and victories he had fallen to his death. He then questions how he lived his life and doesn't understand exactly what he fought for. He is scared as to what shall happen to his life now as he is already forgotten inside the battle field. He realizes that he grew up a warrior and he died a warrior and even as he rests he will always be a warrior and nothing can bring him down as long as he does his duty. So ya, this is as far as the band has gotten so far. Even tho the lyrics sound a little emo I dont belive in writing songs about mindless lyrics. I need to have a story behind all my songs or else what is the point preforming infront of everyone if you have nothing to say besides random cuss words and killing people mindlessly? Altho those are fairly interesting movies! I think my drummer said it best when he told me that every song is emo it's just how you preform what your trying to say that gives it that certain genre.
