I don't post work related stuff much, and that's unlikely to change. But, sigh, come on people. If you're going to steal a 1200 dollar piece of equipment, don't do it during an official visit where you're going to leave behind a photocopy of an ID containing your name and address, and leave your email and phone number as part of the official reasons for the visit. Certainly don't do it in a building that has very obvious cameras at the elevators and not even have a bag to put your stolen, brightly colored, object in.
Then, for god's sake, don't steal from a governmental agency that might (but luckily, this time not), for example, have a requirement to report theft. Since you promptly returned the 'borrowed' equipment, my boss was merciful.

There went my morning. Chasing after some miserable sot who just blew three years of good reputation with our bureau out of the water with a cannon.
On the brighter side, if the Torchwood team got changed into opposite gender - here's my begining tentative, alternative actor choices.
