What....Now!?
yesterday was quite a day. rehearsal started at 10 o'clock and we ended at 11:45 i think, it was really windy but we got stuff done. we headed out for the football game at RV and it was their homecoming too. i was excited cause i knew i was gonna see a lot of people from surf and everything. i wish we could have performed so rob could have seen me. but i'm pretty sure he'll see me at the homeshow next weekend. i just remembered 2 seconds ago that they are coming. so that's awesome. well it was halftime and we headed over to their band room and i saw alex and cindy lol. great to see them cause i never do anymore. and we'd always hang out when they were in high school, and here i am graduating this year, craziness. anyway...i talked to Ian first for a little while, and then Rob and Harrison, said hi to Alex from surf's guard. cory and gravy then came over and chatted for a little bit. saw that scott and adam were there, good to see them too, it's been a while, since like last year at township. and before all this, the drum majors and captains from RV came over to greet us, and lo and behold, corinne from the baritone line is their drum major for like her 3rd year i think. it was pretty nuts if you ask me. and i got to see kate!! hahaha katie gielda i miss her. well the game was done and i think that's all the ones i saw at the game. we headed out to shawnee high school for the competition.
we arrived and ate on the basketball court and did the dance block in there. other bands were around us and i read one of the raincoats and it said "Eastern Regional" and i was immediately looking for Kristen Sano haha. so i hear "Poo!!" and i turn around to see schwartzer and kristen standing there lol. it was really nice to see her again, and i'll be seeing her at our home show too!! but then the apocolypse came and it was some crazy thunder and rain. so we all chilled on the buses. good times. well we got off and hopped over the rain puddles to do some wind arch. the drumline came over and we ensembled and we headed on out. we definitely had a great show. but there were a lot of things that could have been prevented or could have improved our show. but nonetheless, it was awesome. we got off the field and grabbed our raincoats and sat in the stands. when we had arrived to shawnee i heard "SJ!!" haha, and abbie and kaitlyn were there with Pitman HS lol. i knew i'd be able to see them later, or at least abbie. so when we sat in the stands i got to talk to SJ for a little bit. and kristen came up and was like "i wanna be corny and call a surf meeting...surfboard!!" haha. so we watched some shows and headed on out to retreat. well i leave the stands and i knew victor was on staff for eastern but i didn't know if he'd be there, and i turn and guess who's there!?!? Victor!!!!! haha i miss him like crazy. taking that walk with me in Denver when i sat out for my breathing. drumming with him, what a great guy. of course he had sticks in his hand too lol. too bad we couldn't chat long. well we stood in the retreat line for a while and me, schwarter and kristen and the eastern people chatted for a bit until we went to the field. they announced 3rd place and were like "Wwwwwwwwwww" and i was like "don't say washington twp.", but luckily they said willingboro. and cherokee got 2nd, and not only did we get 1st, but we got best guard, an 85.15 and both highest scores of the night. percussion got an 18.8 and cherokee with a 19.2, but i'm sorry, that just cannot happen. the judge must have been on E or something. oh yea, and i saw cheryl gillick walking by, but didn't talk to her. and then good ol' john gillick walks by! haha, i took off my shako and i was like "john gillick!!!" we talked for a couple minutes and he said our percussion blew him away, he was so surprised. for him to say that, i think we deserved best percussion. so if you wanna say we had a perfect night, go for it. so we headed back and i saw Jay, he was with collingswood, i never got to see Lerch :( but definitely next weekend at our show. we got on the buses, celebrated and left. my parents were gone for the night so no one was home, and i crashed and went to bed.

wow that all made me happy. even better, i get my license tomorrow!! although i don't have a car, i'll be able to take my mom's on friday's (after 4pm starting in November) and on the weekend most likely, and to band tuesday's and i don't know about thursday's. and whenever i can. so i'm gonna get going now and go to bed whenever i want cause i'm not going to school tomorrow, yay! but i'm going to read some thermochemistry now, rock on...PEACE OUT
