In case you have no idea what I'm talking about check this out.

Originally came upon it via tapati and a couple days later, I am still utterly mind-boggled. I'm still forming my thoughts but I do fully intend to respond to this. Cause really, wtf ( Read more... )

What the hell was he thinking? katelennon April 25 2008, 21:12:48 UTC
Well, probably not THINKING, so much as "ZOMG! BOOBIES!!!!!"

Sometimes I get fooled and think men aren't as asinine as I think they are; then this happens and I'm all "Yeah. You're idiots, every single one of you. This is why I don't date and have no desire to EVER MARRY ONE OF YOU."

Nice Tori Amos quote, btw.

Yeah, thankfully there are a couple of men in my life that are really decent guys so I know they do actually exist, even if they are few and far between. *sighs*

On my LJ I put the link to that one, and the project for women to back each other up when being harassed.

Damn, that is really sickening! If you ever come across a petition to get this "project" shut down, I'm signing!

I think the project has already been shut down. Or, at least, theferret did a lot of backtracking and "I now see the error of my ways" talk about not attempting it again. This is not to say some other schmuck won't try it somewhere else, but as this project stands I think it's likely it won't be seen at other cons.

At least they backed down after the stupidity of it was vigorously pointed out to them. Some idiots wouldn't have!

Some guys just can't comprehend a woman's perspective. They haven't walked a mile in our shoes. And some of them need empathy pounded into them, as oxymoronic as that seems.
