So for the past year or so I've been seriously contemplating becoming a vegetarian. The last couple of weeks I've had numerous thoughts, and dreams about it, to the point I've decided to give it a shot for a week. I just ate my first ever veggie burger, and you know what?
It was pretty damn good. Tasted like a regular burger to me. *shrugs*

If you're thinking of switching, more power to ya.
I think one of the problems with going vegetarian or vegan is there tends to be less options and a lot more preparation. Then again, there is that with anything healthy, so it's not just limited to being a herbivore.
I would be careful, though, like others have said, with your nutrients. You'll probably want to go on a multivitamin (but realize it's not as good for you as actually getting the nutrients from food).
One thing that kind of sucks for me, though, also? I'm not terribly fond of vegetables. Bah. So, I think I'll just stick to eating healthy. If you do decide to go, though, I wish you good luck!
Oh, and I also love soy milk (but never get original-it sucks), almond milk (chocolate... yum), rice ice cream, and soy ice cream. Check out natural health food stores; they're awesome.
