I just formed a group at school called Sexual Assault Awareness and Education Organization. April is several months away, but it is sexual assault awareness/child abuse prevention month and I had this idea for a fundraiser...
I've been doing some research on stars who have been involved with RAINN (Rape, Abuse and Incest National Network). There are quite a few big name ones like Tori Amos, Sarah McLachlan, U2, Jennifer Aniston and Michael J. Fox among others.
Would it be completely insane if I and the other members of this organization began writing letters to these stars and asking for autographed photos/merchandise to auction away and give to the local sexual assault center? What about the TW cast? Or SVU cast? Anyone think any of these people might respond?
