Initially, I didn't want to buy an iphone because it was too locked, too proprietary and too hyped. But that didn't stop me from still wanting it since my current phone is a steaming pile of feces.
With the news of the iphone being able to be fully unlocked as well as the news of numerous 3rd party apps such as ssh, a method of using it as a modem, and the ability to access the command line on the phone, I have to admit that I am getting more and more interested in purchasing one.
Then today, I noticed that they have refurbished iphones on apple's site for a hundred bucks off.
