NaNoWriMo!
So, since I completely forgot NaNoWriMo is in November, I decided to finally join this year at the last minute :X
Which means I'm finally going to actually get something written for this idea I've had for a while. I've got quite a bit of it planned out already, but no one gets to know anything yet! >O
Well, I'll tell a little..I've been planning a project with numerous short stories (mostly visual novels) for months now. To me, it was more about characters and everything about this futuristic post-apocolyptic Earth (well, generations after). Mostly because what I'd done was put all these half done ideas for characters for various short VNs, and threw them in the same world, and I'm sure if I tried to make some big epic plot right now it'd just come out cheesy or just plain bad -_- So right now it's short stories introducing these various characters with minimal backstory on this new Earth. There's some fantasy/sci fi elements, but I tried to make them come out as realistic as possible, while still being appealing.
Since these characters were originally intended for visual novels, I do have some rough sketches and colored pictures of some characters that I'll probably scan and post sometime later, and when I do I'll explain some about each of them. (AND NO LAUGHING AT MY DRAWING SKILLZ D:)

I gotta do something about that title D| I came up with it on the spot when the site was all "Gimme your novel title!"
Cause yeah, "Welcome to 2011 PA" is lame :/ Maybe these people don't call it Earth anymore..yeaah..I'll give it some badass fantasy name >_>
I guess that also determines the time period lol Get it?! It's 2011 but not cause it's in Post Apocolypse era?! The survivors weren't very creative namers okay? D: Yeah, I'll work on that too
