Mis, God of Misunderstandings
Also known as the Creator of Confusion, the Daemon of Delusion, the Maker of Mistakes, Mis, God of Misunderstandings, is responsible for more social schisms than skin color, more embarrassment than Flie, the trickster god of pants, and more wars than the God of Religion.
Mis delights in causing confusion: sowing discord, pitting friends against each other, etc. When the god is nearby, humans will sometimes be unable to speak normally, akin to the stories of Babel (Dynamic Sorcery: Truth). There are rumors that Mis is directly responsible for the phenomenon of Babel and thus, the schism of languages.
In fact, the rumors are true. Mis did indeed cause the rift of language to separate the humans. However, dating back to the creation of that rift are powerful artifacts of origin unknown to Mis called Rosetta Stones. These stones can filter language and facilitate understanding, even between humans and gods, and in the presence of these artifacts, Mis loses all of his powers.
The God of Misunderstandings appears human and often walks among them. He has a markedly androgynous form. Each person who sees the god will immediately presume it as a member of the opposite gender.
