Changed my layout and friends only graphic. I felt like going with a Converge theme because the more I watch their video for No Heroes, the more I love them again. And every time I see the frame where the light beam comes down from the sky onto Jake and the doves all take to the sky behind him, I totally get goosebumps. If you're curious, you can see it here. I was gonna post a screencap, but my print screen key seems to have taken a day off.
The picture on the right is an alteration of their album cover for Jane Doe (The FO graphic is more like the cover, but cropped to a new shape) with the lyrics to No Heroes superimposed onto it. I felt like doing a two-color experiment, so I did two layers, and cut out the alternating colors in the appropriate places.
The song really gets me pumped and hits me in just the right way. I find it an uplifting cry for self realization. And, in case you can't read it properly, these are the lyrics;
