Gosh I can't keep up these days!
I have so much going on I just don't have time to think! Seriously!
-FRIDAY-
Yesterday I woke up at 7:15 to take Jacob to work and noticed Jaidon was a little warm but I didn't think about it again. I got back from taking him to work and sat on the couch. Well about 8:30 rolled around and he was really warm. So I took his temperature and it was like 101.2 Well I gave him a dose of Tylenol and sat around and waited until 11:00 and I checked his temperature again. It was 102.7 So I called Shaw Peds. and they said if it gets higher than 103 degrees then to call back. Well I called Jacob to tell him that I might have to take him to the hospital and not even 3 minutes later I checked it again and it was 103.5! I was really worried. So I called Shaw Peds back and the nurse said take him to the hospital immediately! So the panic in her voice scared me to death. I called Jacob and told him that I was swinging by his work to pick him up to go with me and I went upstairs and tried to find Jaidon some clothes. I got so frustrated because I couldn't find anything and I was hella worried about him that I just broke down and started crying. I finally found him a sleeper outfit and got him dressed and we left. I picked up Jacob and we rushed to the emergency room. Well we got there at like 1 something and they processed him in real quick, gave him a dose of Motrin and checked his temp and weight and blood pressure and we sat in the waiting room FOREVER. We were out there for like 2 hours. And they decide to call him back when I take him to change him...so I told Jacob that THEY can take their precious time, so can I. And I did. They got him back in a room and we waited again for the doctor to come. Even though this little boy had a very high temperature, he was all smiles and giggling and just "talking" the whole time. Well the doc finally got there and the examed Jaidon and Jaidon started screaming like someone was killing him. He did NOT like that doctor. I've never seen him act that way around a stranger. It about broke my heart to see/hear him scream like that. But he said there's a viral infection going around and that's probably what he has. So he ordered an x-ray and a CBC (complete blood count). So we sat there and waited and then finally two nurses came in to do the CBC. They squeezed his poor foot until it was blue trying to get blood. I was pissed! He's got a knot on his foot now from that shit. And he screamed the entire time! After that we waited and waited some more. Then I knew he was hungry so I nursed him until the nurse came in to tell me that we needed to go for his x-ray. Jaidon had JUST gotten to sleep and we had to wake him up for that x-ray...and needless to say he didn't enjoy that either. Well we came back and waited some more.
While we waited there was this woman and her granddaughter that came in. The granddaughter got hit by a car right after she got off her school bus. That was messed up. She lost like 4 of her teeth. It was just horrible. I hope she's doing better. That's just terrible that people don't pay attention like they should.
But anyways back to my long ass book of a story. The doctor finally came back after 2 hours of waiting back there to tell us that there's nothing significant that came back. Just that he probably had a viral infection. So basically we sat there and waited for Motrin and waited for his fever to break. So we got home about 6:30...complete waste of a day! I was extremely exhausted and starving when I got home. Well at 4 am he woke up again with another high fever and I gave him Tylenol and sat up with him until he went to sleep...gosh this mom deal can be rough!
So that was Friday...
-SATURDAY- and basically now...
I picked up Jennifer and met my mom at La Fogata's. I told the waitress when we got there that it was my mom's birthday...a little skeem that me and Jennifer thought up before we left. Though in all reality it WAS NOT her birthday. Well we had our meal and then after we were done here comes 2 waitresses with this big ass sombrero and a polaroid camera and then from the back come all these damn mexican employees with all these like big ass instruments and they start playing those instruments real loud and singing Happy Birthday. They gave her a fried icecream and took her picture. Hahaha... Her picture is on the wall in there.
So then we left and went to Wal-mart and got a few things. And I took Jennifer home and played with Lani for a few minutes and then I came home. Sat around for a few minutes and spent time with Jaidon since I was gone for a little bit. And I made dinner and sat around and Jaidon went to sleep and I brought him upstairs and put him in bed and now I'm here watching Roseanne.
So that has been my weekend this far.
Tuesday I have a nurse from the Family Advocate come talk to me about my depression and then I have an appointment to talk to a counselor about my depression and then by that appointment it will determine if the doctor gives me some antidepressants. So I find out then
