(no subject)
ok so it's been a while. time just flies and I seem to have no time to sit down and have a little bit of LJ time. I get to read but I seldom have time to post my own stuff. anywho. They were talking about sending Jacob off to Iraq. But I guess they changed their minds. Thank God. I don't know what I'd do if they sent him off. But hey, it's his job so I can't get too upset. But if he were to leave he'd miss alot of Jaidon's "firsts" like first steps..first Christmas..first birthday. That would be heartbreaking. He says he wants to go, but he doesn't. If it were up to me, he wouldn't go anywhere!
Jaidon will be 4 months old next Tuesday. Lord where does the time go? I'm being serious! Seems like just yesterday he just came home from the hospital. I've obviously done a good job because I haven't broken him. LOL. He had his first taste of bananas and rice cereal today. He LOVED it. It was soo cute to watch him and he got mad if I didn't feed it to him fast enough. I've been really slack on taking pictures of him. Just flat out too tired these days. Nobody tells you that the first few weeks after you have a baby you run on pure adrenaline...and then after those first few weeks....you walk around like a complete zombie, dumbfounded! NO LIE. Ask any mom of an infant. It's harder than you'd ever imagine. But I absolutely LOVE being a mom and wouldn't trade it for the world. Everyday Jaidon is discovering something new or smiling bigger making my heart melt. And when I get those seldom giggles...(haven't gotten but maybe 3 out of him)he is the center of my universe. Whoever said that having a baby changes everything, they meant it in every since of the word. But it's a change for the better.
Well, Jaidon's sleeping so I guess I'll catch a nap before time to get Jacob from work.
