mother nature is menopausal

The word for today is productivity, as I effectively paid my parking ticket, purchased my film studies reader (in addition to some other goodies but let's not go there) and attended a class that was deep down within the firey depths of the library. My TA introduced me to the wonderful world of microfilm and I totally went to town on old Vanity Fair magazines. The 50s were so goddamn classy. I want to wear knee length coats with stilettos and smoke 100s with recklace abandon.
I've also become designated soccer mom. I considering getting some stickers for my car that say like "I <3 My Kids", or "Baby On Board" so if you see anything along those lines, send them my way. Anything would be a welcome alternative to the slew of retarded JohnKerry and BushChenney stickers ive seen gathering mold on the back of every other station wagon in Davis. Like oh, you support JohnKerry? That's fucking awesome, now the light is green so fucking go. I even saw some kid who had gone to the trouble of making like a mini "I<3Kerry" license plate and mounting on the back of his wee bike. That's like painting a red and white bullseye on the back of your sweatshirt...he was just begging me to run him over. I practically had to hold black beauty back and he was ready and rarring for some hit and run action.

I'm so stressed. It's nearly 5 and I haven't even brushed me teeth, but here's why: I'm attempting to write my paper on Lady Lazarus but I just don't see me doing a poem like that justice in the space or time allotted. Sylvia Plath must be rotating in her grave right now. If she was alive, she'd probably stick her head in an oven...again. I just can't focus knowing that I get to dress like a Brownie on thursday and a Liger on October 31st...it's all seems too good to be true.

and everyone go to Safeway RIGHT NOW because they are having a special on the most heavenly PepperJack Cheese in the world. I just wanna find the cow with the glorious utters from which it sprang and throw it a party.

over and out.
