And the wheels spin round!
So as you all know I am back in the state and now the are itself, after much contemplation I packed up my stuff in sacramento and came down to the bay to await my move in day of the first of the year. Time to start fresh and get to know the new me,,again. It is wierd being a civilian again, being able to make my own decisions about everything. Now all I have to do is loose this spare tire wrapped around my waist and decide what to do for the next 10 or 15 years. It is fabulous being back among my friends. I went to Beefys tonight and had some nice relaxed casual conversation. It was heaven, I havnt been able to go out and just sit and chat with like minded people in so long I didnt know if I could anymore. The one oddity I am working around now is that I dont want to sit around and discuss the army and everything I went through all the time unless someone wants to know about it. So I end up having nothing to refer to when talking to my friends and their lives except my memories from 3 years ago. Everything else for me in the last 3 is army. Some people are interested and want to ask about certain aspects, but I find myself telling obscure army stories while swapping stories with others and most of them are only funny or even amusing if you served.
